
Any advice on good energy boosters, such as energy pills before cardio?
I've been working out and TRYING to cardio for 45 minutes, for a while now. My body always seems too tired to do the full 45 minutes. I'm in good shape, not overweight. I don't know what the problem is. I take Lipo-6 for an energy boost, but it doesn't help too much. Any advice for a good energy boost?
I'm on a very strict diet. No sugar, no starches. Only healthy food such as lean protein and complex carbs, oatmeal, protein shakes, lots of water.
If you don't enough carbs before you workout, you will never have enough energy. Carbs are like fuel for the body. I suggest you eat one serving of oatmeal an hour before your cardio. It will make a BIG difference trust me. It will enable you to get a better more effective workout.
I do hour and a half super intense bike rides and all I eat before hand is some high fiber bread, oatmeal or a banana.
Another good tip is to eat something with a higher Glycemic Index minutes before you workout. (like an apple, an orange or a serving of gatorade)
This is the ONE time it's okay to eat sugars and starches.
If you insist on taking drugs, try taking a bronkaid, (it has ephedrine) you may have a heart attack, but you'll be able to go hard for three hours if you want.
