If the earth had organs?

We live on a planet that has seen the evolution of life over the last 3.5 billion years

we are experiencing an exponetial growth phase in new technologies which are truely global

I believe that we are at a critical point in time where we will be able to help design and construct very large structures which are analogous to organs in animals

This includes
fiber optic cable networking with tens of millions of personal computers creating a global brain and soon consciousness

We already posses the technologies needed to mine fuels and minerals stored far underground
At present organs are being constructed to harness these energy sources to transform these basic building blocks into components that are utilised for the production of food and global transport etc.

Could this also lead to the creation of a global fetus analogue and the birth of a global organism which has a brand new suite of physical features that transcend those we attribute to the earth at present?

The Earth is a part of the paradigm of creation formed from the same creation archetype as we are.
It is a giant living entity, made up of all the attendant organisms that inhabit it, in much the same way our own bodies are. (What would our cells do without the mitochondria that provide energy, they are separate living inhabitants of our cells, imagine if they 'went on strike')
Its a real surprise to actually grasp that your body is made up of a whole heap of other living things,(that may well have consciousness of their own}
So far we have failed in any attempts to consult nature as to what makes it feel right, although attempts made in a loving and thoughtful way (such as building gardens) seem always to yield something we find attractive, comforting and nourishing..
An acceptance of this is fundamental to fostering a true understanding of both our own and our planets nature.
All parts of our consciousness are inexorably linked to the physical, mental and spiritual nature of this planet and yet some, in fact most of the inhabitants, choose in ignorance and conceit to live as if they were not in any way connected, but merely here to enjoy all they can take.
No material leaves this planet when we die, in fact our very bodies are recycled back into the matter they came from.
The only thing that departs is our spiritual essence.
Ancient and indigenous civilizations practised rigorous ceremonial attention to balancing energy systems and there is a strong impetus to more fully reinvigorate the planets energetic and spiritual systems at present than at any time in the half century or so I have spent here this life.(a search of Solstice Ceremonies should verify this).
I support the proposition wholeheartedly and believe when we develop a more thorough understanding and knowledge of the Earths organs, and their corresponding energetic functions we will get back to being more attentive to where, with what, and how we build, grow, plan and remediate our surroundings.
Congratulations on introducing a topic well worthy of further investigation and discussion.
